Hackers got into my main shopping site, www.creativewanderings.ca and have also attcked and completely decimated my blog. All those years of writing. Gone.
But it’s OK. Seriously. I did mourn for some of my posts, specifically the ones talking about my mother and the book “Daughters of Madness”. But the rest? Lots of vitriol there. Better that it’s left in the past where it belongs.
To be honest, I haven’t really been saying much on the blog. Most of what I’ve wanted to talk about involves my business, and I want to have this space as more of a place to share things, versus venting. I think I’m done venting. Well, maybe not. When I need to vent, I’ll put up a password protected post.

Never fear! Nothing on the Intertubes is truly lost–if there are any particular entries you want, I have ‘em in my google reader!
If you’re anything like me, you spent the afternoon throwing things.
I’m oddly calm about it all actually. At first I was horror struck (like when I texted you), but then I realized that this was probably for the best. I wanted to start blogging again, but so much of my life revolves around the business, I wanted to blog about the business, but didn’t want to from this site due to some of the past posts. Now, I can! I didn’t want two blogs, one strictly for the biz and one personal one. The two are so interconnected now, I wanted one for both. And now I have one!
wow. I can’t even imagine.
Why are people such idiots??
Oh no, bastards! I’m liking this look though.
(This is Suburban Mum btw. New name!).
Hey there,
I read your comment on Smitten Kitchen RE: pictures of cake being food porn and it made me LOL. I clicked on your name which led me to this site. How horrible that your site was destroyed! BUT, I’m not sure if you know about this nifty internet site tool called the WAYBACK MACHINE: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php You can type in your site, and it will pull it up, as it looked years ago, including all entries. Amazing what’s out there being stored about everyone, eh? Anyway, just thought I’d let you know about it if you didn’t. Hope it helps!
